Wonder

This poem is from “Inspired Shares” sent weekly to those who are on the email list. Feel free to sign up if you would like to receive them. This and many poems from the weekly Inspired Shares are published here on the web site.

Inspired shares today is about nature and destiny. There is a lot in the world that is incredibly challenging. I find myself intentionally looking for what brings me a hopeful sense of life and how I can serve during these times. I often recharge in nature. Do you have a favorite way to recharge or experience nature?

The astrologers are foreseeing very big change arriving this month. My reflection in this poem ponders how we are connected  to the planets and nature and how they might teach us. Thank you for exploring with me.

Wonder

Planets moving
across the sky
ever so slowly

as I wonder at the universal meaning
my inner realities shift also

seeing more than I had imagined
surfacing
things I don’t want to see
but can release
and bless

each breath
inward is life
and outward is death

these cycles are with us
and they are of us
as we are of the natural world

what brings us
the calm amidst the storm?

as we pause and wonder
we can more fully
pull back our bow and aim
as we must be warriors
of our destiny

of love and spirit
I invite joining
the smiles, warmth and discovery
of these moments
of now

as bird songs fill my heart
at the rising sun
